25 March 2026
Experience New Zealand’s most iconic landscape whilst enjoying personalised service and premium comforts at every turn.
Launched in late 2025 as a collaboration between Altitude Tours and RealNZ, Milford Sound Business Class is a premium travel experience designed to redefine the journey from Queenstown to New Zealand’s most famous fiord.
Milford Sound Business Class prioritises intimacy, culinary excellence, and seamless logistics to create an amazing experience for the discerning traveller.
This is more than sightseeing; it’s a deeply immersive, care-led encounter with the soul of Fiordland. Glide through ancient landscapes, hear stories passed down through generations, and savour a chef-curated tasting menu that captures the wild essence of the region. Every detail, from thoughtful design to personalised hosting, is crafted to elevate the experience and create lasting connection.
All-inclusive, hosted journey: every detail is taken care of, with a dedicated host guiding your experience for a seamless, stress-free day.
Intimate capped group: small group experience
Premium, comfort-first coach travel: journey in glass-roof Mercedes Sprinters and a refined cruise aboard the MV Sinbad, a boutique boat featuring bespoke interiors.
Chef-led dining experience: begin your day with barista-made coffee and fresh pastries in Te Anau. Onboard, enjoy a seasonal five-course tasting menu inspired by Fiordland and paired with Cloudy Bay sparkling wine.

Daily Departures: 7am from Queenstown, 9.50am from Te Anau.
Flexible cancellation: Reschedules or refunds will be given with up to 48 hours notice.
The Land Journey: Mercedes-Benz Luxury
The adventure begins with a 7:00 AM pick-up from Queenstown. Instead of a standard coach, guests travel in a custom-built Mercedes-Benz Sprinter limited to just 15 passengers.
Panoramic Views: The vehicles feature glass-roof ceilings and oversized side windows, ensuring that the towering peaks of the Southern Alps are visible from every seat.
Onboard Amenities: The interior is fitted with bespoke leather seating, extended legroom, and personal care packages. Modern essentials like Starlink Wi-Fi and USB charging ports are available at every seat.
The "Secret" Stops: Because of the smaller vehicle size, guides can access secluded spots along the Milford Road that are inaccessible to large coaches, allowing for crowd-free photo opportunities.
The Te Anau Lounge Experience
A highlight of the Business Class itinerary is the exclusive morning tea stop in Te Anau. Rather than stopping at a public cafe, guests have access to a private lakeside lounge. Here, you can enjoy barista-made coffee and locally sourced fresh pastries while relaxing in a quiet, upscale environment before the final leg of the drive into the National Park.
The Cruise: MV Sinbad
Upon arrival at Milford Sound, Business Class guests bypass the busy main terminal and board the MV Sinbad, a boutique luxury vessel reserved for small groups.
Bespoke Design: The Sinbad features artisan-led interiors with Māori carvings and sustainable materials, creating a sophisticated atmosphere.
Five-Course Degustation: Moving away from the traditional buffet or picnic box, the cruise features a five-course tasting menu curated by renowned New Zealand chef Tom Hishon. The menu emphasizes "wild and local" ingredients, paired with a welcome glass of Cloudy Bay Pelorus sparkling wine.
Nature Guides: Dedicated nature hosts provide deep storytelling on Māori legends and local wildlife (seals, dolphins, and the rare Fiordland crested penguin) without the noise of a crowded deck.
Choose how you would like to return to Queenstown at the end of your day.
On the road: Relax in the Mercedes Sprinter for the return leg through to Queenstown
Add a scenic flight: Enhance your experience with an optional scenic flight (Heli of Fixed Wing) back to Queenstown after your cruise. Taking to the skies offers a new and unforgettable perspective of Fiordland's dramatic landscapes, revealing towering peaks, alpine lakes, cascading waterfalls, and remote valleys from above. It's the perfect way to complete your day, combining the beauty of Milford Sound by road, water, and air.
