The exchange rates published are the “Buy TT” rates from our bank (Westpac NZ), as these are the relevant rates for buying a foreign currency. Note that there is a discrepancy between this rate and the “Sell TT” rate, which is often mistakenly quoted by some agents.
This rate is valid for a period of 7 days from the time the invoice is sent out.
Please Note: There is small incremental buffer included to counter any fluctuations within the time period before payment is made.

All prices quoted are Nett to you in the stated currency. All quotes are valid as per the stated validity. Should the travel dates be modified, the quotation will be subject to change. Quotations will be based on specific itineraries and subject to availability at the timeof booking. Should alternate services be necessary, the quotation will accordingly be subject to change.
Group quotations are based on the minimum numbers quoted and should the group size reduce in number, the costs will be subject to change.
All requests are subject to availability at the time of booking. We will endeavour to have confirmation to you within 24 hours of the initial request. If we are unable to confirm your request, where possible we will offer an alternative.
The prices quoted include a charge for our services of facilitating and arranging the tour for you and the provision of information about aspects of the tour.
During peak periods and over Special Event dates, hotels or suppliers may require a deposit or prepayment on confirmation and you will be advised accordingly. This is common for Pacific Island resorts.
A final invoice will be sent 35 days prior to arrival. Full payment will be required to be received by us no later than 20 days prior to client arrival. If payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel any reservations to avoid cancellation fees. Payment in New Zealand dollars (NZD) may be forwarded by bank draft to our office or telegraphic transfer direct to our bank accounts as follows:
Please note if you are sending payment for Fiji or Cook Islands arrangements, this MUST be sent to the Fiji Bank account as detailed in the Fiji Terms and Conditions located at the end of the Fiji section of the Tariff. If you do send payment intended for Fiji/Cook Islands to the New Zealand account, we cannot guarantee that currency fluctuations will not affect the final amount they receive.

In accordance with normal hotel terms & conditions the following will apply: 60 days prior to arrival a status or preliminary rooming list35 days prior to arrival a final rooming list must be provided. Failure to do so may result in the automatic cancellation by the hotels. Cancellation fees may apply to any cancellation within 30 days of arrival.
Groups - all groups are personally met by our own office staff when the arrival is in Auckland, alternatively if Christchurch or similar they will be met by a representative. Final documentation will be provided at the time. Individuals/FIT - documentation will be provided by the first service provider.
Any amendments made after confirmation of the booking which make a re-costing of the itinerary necessary may incur a charge. Amendments made within 30 days of arrival may also incur charges from hotels and/or suppliers. Any amendment fees will be advised and appear on the final invoice.
Any cancellations MUST be received by us in writing, and you MUST receive a cancellation acknowledgement for our office at the time in order for your booking to be considered cancelled. Any cancellation fees incurred if this does not happen, will be your responsibility.
Any cancellation received will be assessed individually and any charges will be kept to a minimum.
As a guideline the following will apply:
Cancellation anytime after confirmation and more than 35 days prior to arrival and deposits paid may be forfeited.
Cancellation within 35 days of arrival will most likely incur cancellation fees from hotels.
Travel insurance is recommended in all cases.
Pacific Destinations Limited acts only as agents for the transportation companies, car operators, hotels and all other contractors/suppliers and therefore disclaim any responsibility or liability for any loss, damage, accident, change of schedule or other irregularities caused by or arising from circumstances beyond our control.
Pacific Destinations Limited or any of our contractors/suppliers, reserve the right to alter the itinerary and/or substitute services with or without notice as a result of circumstances beyond our control or if found to be in the best interest of all concerned. Payment of deposit or final payment will signify acceptance of the above conditions and responsibilities outlined.
