Exchange Rates

The exchange rates published are the “Buy TT” rates from our bank (Westpac NZ), as these are the relevant rates for buying a foreign currency. Note that there is a discrepancy between this rate and the “Sell TT” rate, which is often mistakenly quoted by some agents.

This rate is valid for a period of 7 days from the time the invoice is sent out.

Please Note: There is small incremental buffer included to counter any fluctuations within the time period before payment is made.

Over the last 48 hours you may have heard news about heavy rain that has caused significant disruption in Milford Sound, Fiordland and other areas in the lower South Island

The NZ Transport Agency has updated that the Milford Road, SH94 which is the main access road to Milford Sound will be closed at least into the weekend and potentially into next week given the damage from torrential rain and ongoing slips.

Elsewhere in Otago and Southland, some highways have surface water or flooding issues - Several of these roads are also closed as detailed in the map above.
